Which US-listed securities have an on-chain equivalent, what the token is called, and what you actually own when you hold one. Two different things get called “tokenized stocks” and they are not the same: shares held by a custodian against a token, and perpetual futures with no underlying share at all.

Every venue below is geo-restricted and excludes US residents. The SEC’s September 2026 “innovation exemption” creates a five-year path for US venues to trade tokenized NMS stock, but it applies to venues that build to its conditions — not to the offshore platforms listed here, and not to OTC-quoted securities at all. What the exemption covers, and what it leaves out. We report on these products; we do not recommend them.

Tokens backed 1:1 by shares held with a custodian, issued by Backed and settling on Solana and Ethereum among other chains. Token symbols take an x suffix — AAPL becomes AAPLx.

Binance Alpha (Ondo Global Markets)(8)

Tokenized shares issued by Ondo, carrying an on suffix. This is the launch set; Ondo does not publish a machine-readable catalog, so we list only names we can verify.

Hyperliquid equity perpetuals (XYZ DEX)(64)

Perpetual futures priced against an oracle. There is no share behind these — no ownership, no dividends, no voting — and leverage is available. The mark price is extrapolated when the US market is closed.
